quotes Jeremy AKA "Goofy Dude" here. Sorry I wasted your life. Some of this will become clear when the judges evaluate and cost out the students submissions. These episodes come out in april. We are still just filling the gap of time while the students are coming up with designs. Submissions close tomorrow.

quotes K. - Not sure why we continue to struggle with what we are doing with this. We have a link up top before the vid that explains it all very clearly if you will take the time to read it. Here is the point. RR is about getting young people stoked on making things themselves. We have students from around North America designing biking gear for themselves. They are not sitting on the sidelines letting someone else do it, whether their idea is original or not, they are thinking and learning how they can get manufacture something for themselves.

quotes This is an episode of Reality Redesigned, presented by Edge Factor. These episodes are part of a design contest for students, based on the Edge Factor production called "Gnarly Metal". Edge Factor exists to get students involved and excited about manufacturing. These initial episodes are meant to introduce the judges for this season of Reality Redesigned as well as introduce the viewer to the process of getting a design to market, uncovering the cost involved in that process. Future episodes will include the judges opinion of the designs that have been submitted, eventually tracking the designs as the judges pick a winner. Edgefactor.com/rrdetails will give you an in depth look at the competition.

quotes Hey Guys - Jeremy from Edge Factor here. I would love to have been able to include everyone in this contest. I was fully planning to do this, but then the lawyers got involved. For this to be a full on legal project, we have to register this contest in every country and even in some of the states....and every country has its own set of rules. The cost of doing this type of research and registration made it impossible to go beyond US and Canada for this season. Our intentions are to do it bigger and better next year, so we will see how this season goes!

Hi from Scotland
As you can see if you check my profile
I have quite a few ideas regaurding Sealed drive Mountain bikes, but am having trouble getting it to manufacture stage, having read all responces to Reality Redesigned and Derailuars seem to come top of the list and as have spent a few years trying to get gearing working in a low profile setting. Would have to consider my self a bit of an expert on the subject. I want this idea to move on and am looking for help regaurding manufacture.
Please could you give me some guidence to where this might go?
